Event venue

The history of the Cortegrande Farmhouse, where the FOIL Centre is located in Marudo, began over a century ago. Having changed several owners, it was later abandoned and eventually, in 2001, rediscovered: accurate reconstruction was carried out and the venue started to serve as headquarters of FOIL Srl.

Today, in addition to the training and consulting activities carried out by the Centre, the venue can host in great style corporate meetings, conventions, conferences, training courses as well as shows and cocktail parties, among others. The ex barn is now a large multimedia room for over 200 people and where once there was a stable there is now a nice restaurant which serves delicious food, surrounded by classrooms of different sizes for any type of meeting and event.

In the courtyard – which is typical of Lombard farmhouses and here is quite big – the particular shape of the new building (which resembles a piano) delineates a veritable piazza, a sophisticated background for cultural and artistic events, perfectly served by the adjacent restaurant and a natural meeting place for the activities performed in the farmhouse.
